Happy New Year
It's been 3 months since I've posted anything on my blog. What can I say, life got busy. Super busy. Between Ames' therapies during the weekend, me working from home and keeping both boys home with me, I found less and less time to write on my blog every day, much less every week. I burned out fast. So I decided to take a little break and enjoy the fall festivites and holidays without feeling the need to capture every moment of it on camera to share on my blog.
This year, I will try not to expect too much of myself with this blog. The whole purpose of it was to share my ideas when I felt like it, and post when I felt like it. But I tried to keep it up every day and that's what burned me out. I don't want to stop enjoying a hobby because I put too much pressure on myself. I am also going to try to post more pictures this year and write less. I'm definitely no writer, and I'm not sure why I felt like I needed to write a lot to begin with in order to have a creative blog. I'm a visual person, and the things I create and share are to be visually enjoyed, so unless I have a great story that goes along with a photo, have a tutorial to give, or want to explain where I got a design idea from, you can expect to read less here. I'm hoping this way I won't get burned out again and I can enjoy my blog a little more!
So with that said, here is to a great New Year, better health, putting less pressure on myself and just savoring the moments without feeling the need to always share the details. And to just catch you up, here are some photos that sum up the last 3 months!
